05/16/98 ================================================================ Title : Action Quake goes to the movies Filename : cinema2.bsp Game : Action Quake 2 Author : David Harrison Email Address : david@harriben.demon.co.uk Description : Cinema, with foyer, bar, washroom, tower and street areas Additional Credits to : The Action Quake Team, id software, Qoole's authors, ODEON cinemas, Airquake designers (for _some_ of the new textures), the Wally author (used to make textures) ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Not really Cooperative : No, nothing to fight Deathmatch : 2-16... probably (larger nos of player could cause congestion, im not sure) Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : black sky env (totally blank, so it doesn't distract from the action), heaps of new textures inc car, road, pavement, washroom(!), cinema, bar, carpet(wow), etc New Music : Yeah, right * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : Winqoole 2.50 Known Bugs : Some greying out and some badly aligned textures. Otherwise, enjoy. Build Time : Dunno (it took nearly an hour to VIS, though) Notes This level is, I think, fairly well balanced between sniping and running-through-corridoors-shooting-people, there is only one proper sniping position, and a 'secret' weapon. I resisted the temptation to put in an assault rifle for the sake of game balance. Changes: almost exactly the same as cinema1, but with wallgaps removed and the shotgun in a new postion. Its also far easier to get to hard-to-reach areas of the map. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels without asking really nicely and/or giving me large sums of money. This BSP may be distributed ONLY over the Internet and/or BBS systems, but i don't see why you shouldn't use it for normal quake2. You are NOT authorized to put this BSP on any CD or distribute it in any way without my permission.
